Support choice
Supporto
It is possible to choose betweendifferent supports, based on the characteristics of mechanical strength, resistance to fire and atmospheric agents that are required al panel.

Aluminum honeycomb
Our aluminium honeycomb, depending on the application of the panel, can be:
- in 0.05 mm thick 3003 alloy ;
- in 0.06 mm thick 5052 alloy;
Made of aluminum with micro-perforations for air exchange between the cells to avoid a possible detachment effect caused by an increase in air volumes due to the heat inside the closed cells.
Perforated aluminum on the cell walls to allow the passage of air flow for particular applications, which require high vacuums or strong decompressions.
Nomex® Alveolar
NOMEX® honeycomb is made of aramid paper impregnated with resin, which guarantees particular performance in terms of fire and humidity resistance and resistance to sea salt .
Polyethylene terephthalate -PET-
Polyurethane foams
Polyethylene terephthalate, whose acronym is PET, is a thermoplastic resin , belonging to the polyester family, composed of phthalates.
It is also used for its electrical properties, chemical resistance, high temperature performance , self-extinguishing.
The good mechanical properties and FST (fire and smoke) characteristics of the material allow its use in the naval and construction sectors.

X
It is possible to define:
You can choose between 2 different cell densities.
A higher density increases the mechanical performance of the panel and the flexural strength with a low increase in weight per m3.
ALUMINIUM HONEYCOMB
from 3/8 (mm 8.66) corresponding to 40 Kg/m3
from 1/4 (6.25 mm corresponding to 80 Kg/m3
from 1/8 (mm 3.12 corresponding to 120 Kg/m3
(for panels with reduced thicknesses or that require a
greater resistance to bending)
NOMEX® ALVEOLAR
from 1/16 (mm 3.2) corresponding to a weight of 48 Kg/m3
from 3/16 (mm 1.8) corresponding to a weight of 60 Kg/m3
The thickness in combination with the cell diameter defines the mechanical characteristics of the panel.
It is possible to produce any thickness on request, starting from 8 mm up to 60 mm.

Skins can be:
STRUCTURALin thin aluminum , steel or composite material in fiberglass , carbon or kevlar

STRUCTURAL Skins
The structural skins are those surfaces that make up the panel and serve to give structure and stability to the panel and can be in:
- Aluminum or metal
- Steel
- G10 fiberglass
- Nomex®
- Kevlar®, one or more layers
To optimize the sound-absorbing or thermal insulation characteristics , it is possible to combine the structural skins with a cork skin.
The covering skins are those surfaces that cover the panel, giving it the desired decorative purpose , and can be in:
- High pressure laminate
- Essence
- Max 6 mm SP- solid
- MDF
- - Glass/EpoxyPrepreg
- Decorative
COVERING SKINS
Adesivo

Structural adhesives have different chemical formulations depending on the nature of the materials to be joined.
Epoxy adhesives for structural use and for joining composite materials.
Primers to increase adhesion and surface protection
Foaming adhesives to seal joints between the same components
Epoxy adhesive films for bonding surfaces.
